About
We invite you to join the Travel League on a tour of the magical locations around Lake Baikal!
A trip to Lake Baikal is a great opportunity to explore the protected territory of Eastern Siberia and the deepest lake on the planet with its ancient history.

On our tour, you will connect with nature and the sacred traditions of Olkhon Island, master physical and spiritual practices that will relieve inner tension and anxiety, recharge your energy with the elements—earth, water, fire, and air—and help you connect with yourself and the world around you.
What can i see here?
During the trip you will have time to visit:
Irkutsk
Cape Khoboy
Ogoi Island
Shamanka Rock (Cape Burkhan)
Khuzhir Village
Olkhon Island
program
At around 6 p.m., we will arrive in the village of Khuzhir on Olkhon and check into double rooms at the U Lukomorya guest house. At 7-8 p.m., a delicious homemade dinner will be waiting for us there!
After dinner, at 8 p.m., we will gather together for physical practice so that you can rest and relax after your travels and flight, calm your thoughts, and switch to the “here and now” in a beautiful moment and place.
After your first day on Lake Baikal, you will fall asleep a happy person!
Irkutsk, Lake Baikal, Olkhon Island, Khuzhir village
From 9 to 10 a.m., we will meet at a cafe in the center of Irkutsk, where we will have breakfast after our flight to the city and stop by a store to prepare for the trip to Olkhon, which will take about 8 hours: from 10:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. On the way, we will stop at beautiful scenic locations, get to know each other, breathe fresh air, and take pictures.
The highlight of our trip will be the ferry crossing to Olkhon Island. We will sail across Lake Baikal, enjoying the vastness and beauty of the legendary lake with seagulls soaring above it.
Day 1
program
We will spend most of our time observing the island's nature, slowing down to contemplate the picturesque panoramas – we will walk and meditate.
Then we will take a boat to the shore with Silver Springs across the Small Sea, a strait where the water is warmer than in Lake Baikal, and we will be able to swim. There, on the shore, we will have lunch with the most famous fish of Lake Baikal, the delicious grayling, and then we will start our return journey.
Back at the hotel, at 6-7 p.m., you will enjoy a relaxing physical practice dedicated to the element of water, with which we connected during today's journey.
At 7-8 p.m., we will have a delicious dinner, followed by free time, which you can use to visit the bath complex on the shore of Lake Baikal.
Based on your preliminary requests, a time will be reserved, and after warming up in the bathhouse, we will plunge into the cold waters of Lake Baikal, admire the starry sky in solitude, and listen to the lapping of the waves.
Ogoi Island, Small Sea Islands, western shore of Lake Baikal, bath complex in Khuzhir
The day will begin with an invigorating practice: from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m., we will engage in gentle hatha yoga to release tension, increase joint and spinal mobility, and prepare the body for the adventures ahead.
Those who wish can sleep in for an hour and join us for breakfast at 9:00.
After breakfast, we will board a boat and sail from Khuzhir to Ogoy Island. This trip will take about 7 hours: from 10:00 to 17:00.
Our boat trip will include a visit to Ogoy Island and the western shore of Lake Baikal with the Silver Springs on the other side of the Small Sea.
On Ogoy, we will visit the island's main attraction, the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment, dedicated to the bearer of secret teachings, the dakini Trom Nagmo, and greet the guardian of the island, the stone Dragon.
Day 2
program
At the cape, we will have lunch with the main course being omul fish soup. You will also see places of shamanic rituals and hear sacred stories of Olkhon from the guide.
Back at the hotel, we will conduct a practice of awakening the element of fire, which will help you raise your energy level, feel your strength and confidence.
At 7-8 p.m. we will have dinner, and at 9 p.m. we will move outside to the barbecue area, where a bonfire will be waiting for you with discussions about the past day and stories from the guide about shamanism.
Cape Khoboy
In the morning, from 8 to 9 a.m., we will do some invigorating exercises – we will stretch, release any remaining tension in our bodies, and boost our energy levels and mood.
After a hearty breakfast, at 10 a.m., we will take local “bukhanka” cars to the north of Olkhon Island to Cape Khoboy.
Cape Khoboy (“Fang”) is a colorful location consisting of steep cliffs that plunge into the waters of Lake Baikal. We will walk around the cape, admire its slopes covered with lush vegetation, and breathe in the healing aromas of endemic plants.
Some of the rocks at Khoboy have cracks and crevices through which the blue of the lake can be seen, creating a beautiful backdrop for photos, as does the cape's observation deck, which offers a magnificent panorama of Lake Baikal and a view of the distant shores of the Svyatoy Nos peninsula, located 50 km from Olkhon.
Day 3
program
Then, following the eco-trail, we will arrive at a tourist location with souvenir shops, restaurants, and a rental point. Here you will have time to have lunch, buy souvenirs, swim, and ride on rafts if Lake Baikal is calm.
From 2:30 to 4:30 p.m., our instructor will lead a breathing practice based on the element of air and a journey into the depths of the subconscious (based on the “Urban Shamanism” program of the Moscow Institute of Psychotherapy and Clinical Psychology).
From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., those who wish can meet with a Buryat shaman, who will answer your personal questions.
From 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., enjoy a delicious homemade dinner and free time, which you can use to say goodbye to the island—take a walk along the shore or sit by the fire in our warm company.
Cape Burkhan, Shamanka Rock
From 8 to 9 a.m. – an invigorating practice for early risers. From 9 to 10 a.m. – breakfast for everyone.
Today, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., we will go to Cape Burkhan to see Shamanka Rock.
Shamanka Rock is a symbol of Olkhon and one of the nine sacred sites of Asia. Inside the rock is a cave with a Buddhist altar, where, according to legend, Burhan, the main deity of the Buryat Buddhists and the sacred spirit of Lake Baikal, lived in ancient times.
Cult rituals and shaman burials took place at Cape Burkhan, Buryats made important vows there, and childless couples came to pray for children. This place has sacred status for all Buryat shamanic clans and is a place of pilgrimage.
You will see 13 ritual posts called serge, which unite three worlds: the gods, ordinary people, and underground spirits. You will learn who to turn to and how to tie a ribbon on the serge correctly so that your wish comes true.
Day 4
program
We will hear the history of the city, see mansions and wooden houses with lace window frames, temples, the picturesque Angara embankment, squares with fountains, and Irkutsk's mysterious beast, the “babra.”
After a walk around the city, at 8-9 p.m. we will have a farewell dinner at one of the best restaurants. We will enjoy our favorite and new dishes, dance on the open terrace, share our joy, and thank each other for a wonderful time!
Irkutsk
In the morning, from 8 to 9 a.m., we will conduct an awakening practice, have a hearty breakfast from 9 to 10 a.m., and at 10:30 a.m. we will depart for Irkutsk by ferry across Lake Baikal and by transfer.
Around 4 p.m., we will check into the Angara Hotel in the center of Irkutsk, where we will have lunch.
From 5 to 8 p.m., we will take a tour of the historic city center.
Irkutsk is one of the oldest cities in Siberia, founded as a fort in 1661. Many historical and architectural monuments have been preserved here.
